What can $­­­­­­­­­­­­40 do?

Quite a bit for a woman in West Africa where the majority of the population lives on less than $­­­­­­­­­­­­1 a day. ECHOPPE loans, most as small as $­­­­­­­­­­­­40, enable women to buy the raw materials and supplies to sell in their local street markets. Through a loan, a woman can start or strengthen her small business to provide necessary income for her family.
