The economics of change:

We can make a difference where we are.  It is how we buy, what we buy, how we give that can make the world different.  People all over the world look for hope and a chance to live correctly.  This is why they migrate and why some get angry and fight.  

By purchasing Fair trade products - buying locally produced foods and fighting for ethics in how our supermarkets today choose their products are all ways of creating changes.  It is rare that Africans need our milk, oil and butter products.  They need the chance to be able to grow them themselves.  They can.  But poverty limits hope and creates disdain.  ECHOPPE tries to build hope by creating faith in people and allowing them to build for themselves economically.

But we are all part of the same chain.  The lower the prices that we insist on paying - others pay with their lives.

It is possible to invest in ethical banking and give interests gained to associations such as ECHOPPE.  

It is by our creativity in managing resources and creating economic changes in the "Western" world that we can also influence the poor all over the world.
